Job summary

Bay Systems Consulting Inc. seeks a full-time professional to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration team in El Segundo, CA. The role supports GPS system design, data analysis, and government program decisions.

The candidate will collaborate with DoD and Space Force stakeholders, have a Secret clearance, and contribute to cross-domain integration, performance verification, and risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience.
• Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met.
• Experience with system architecture development.
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams.
• Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed.
• Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience.
• Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design.
• Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries.
• Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses.
• Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance.
• Perform and present data analysis that drive decisions on government programs.
• Support GPS Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management.
