Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Technical Architect in Washington, DC to oversee conceptual design and provide technical support through schematic design to construction administration. The role focuses on guiding the project team and ensuring design quality for government projects.

The candidate will mentor staff, ensure compliance with building codes, and participate in client meetings and proposal development; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with active license and US citizenship.
• 8+ years of related experience in government or civic projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee conceptual design and provide technical support through schematic design to construction administration.
• Lead project development, coordination with lead professionals, and QA on design documentation.
• Mentor staff and manage design quality and presentations.
• Engage in client meetings and proposals; travel as needed.
