Job summary
GXO Logistics, Inc invites a Principal Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud, to lead hands-on cloud platform development at enterprise scale. You will design and scale the Google Cloud Platform foundation, build secure IaC, automate deployments, and drive Kubernetes operations while partnering with security and architecture teams.
You will mentor engineers, leverage FinOps, and shape enterprise AI platform capabilities on Google Cloud for global scale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
- Certification as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect is required.
- 10–15+ years in cloud or platform engineering with enterprise-scale experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale Google Cloud Platform foundations across environments.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and secure-by-default configurations.
- Lead production-grade GKE platforms and robust networking setups.
- Implement IaC standards and CI/CD pipelines with modern tooling.
- Collaborate with security, data, and architecture teams to enforce zero-trust controls.
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards across the organization.
