Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a software engineer to design and build storage software for Kubernetes-based AI workloads. You will develop control-plane services, drivers (CSI), and tooling to provision, configure, and operate storage for high-performance compute across hybrid, edge, and air-gapped deployments built on the company K0rdent stack.

Qualifications

5+ years of software development with Go as a primary language.
5+ years building or integrating storage systems (distributed, scale-out, NAS, or object).
Experience with high-performance storage platforms (Dell PowerScale, VAST).
Solid understanding of storage fundamentals (throughput, latency, caching, consistency).
Experience with Kubernetes storage (CSI, persistent volumes) and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

Design and build control-plane services, drivers (CSI), and tooling for storage in Kubernetes-based AI workloads.
Integrate storage platforms into automated provisioning workflows.
Develop data-path, telemetry, and observability tooling to diagnose performance and reliability issues.
