Job summary

VIZIO in Denver, CO is seeking a Software Engineer III to own features from concept through release, and operate them in production. You will design APIs in Go, deploy via Azure, and collaborate with peers to ensure durable, scalable software.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, deep technical work, and meaningful impact, with a focus on production quality and ownership across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field with 2 years of software engineering experience OR 4 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with strongly typed languages and migrating APIs to Go.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end APIs written in Golang and deployed across Azure
• Write and maintain Terraform for deploying infrastructure to various environments
• Write and maintain unit tests and functional tests using Postman and Github Actions
• Frequently communicate in writing and verbally with other teams on large features
• Build services consumed by many teams across the company
• Deliver features that are flexible, cost-effective, maintainable, and scalable
• Optimize cloud resource usage in Azure (compute, networking, storage, security)
