Job summary

StackAdapt is seeking a software engineer to design and optimize programmatic bidding systems, collaborating with ML engineers to push the boundaries of advertising technology. You will lead a team of engineers, apply data-driven methods, and drive performance improvements across large-scale distributed systems.

The ideal candidate has deep AdTech experience, low-latency software expertise, and a track record of delivering high-throughput services in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AdTech or MarTech, ideally working on high-scale or performance-critical systems.
• Advanced programming in Go (or languages like C++, Java, Scala, or Rust).
• Experience deploying large-scale models and real-time inference systems in production.
• 5+ years of software development, building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with a team of engineers to design, implement, and optimize programmatic bidding systems.
• Apply analytical, data-driven methodologies to problem solving and optimize performance through experimentation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to architect and build innovative solutions for programmatic advertising.
• Rigorously optimize large-scale distributed systems to handle billions of requests per second with ms-level latency.
• Partner with Product teams to ship features that advance the company’s vision.
