Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a senior software engineer to design and build Go backend services that power GPU health, fleet intelligence, and cloud operations. You will craft REST APIs, data models, and high-volume ingestion paths, while integrating with Aurora PostgreSQL, Kafka, S3, and OpenTelemetry observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry software engineering with a CS/CE degree.
• Strong Go backend development experience.
• Experience building REST APIs and production services using Gin or similar.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience including design and optimization.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry ingestion, or operational analytics.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong debugging skills across APIs, databases, cloud services, and production systems.
• Familiarity with JWT authentication patterns and access controls.
• Experience on Linux-based development and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Go backend services, REST APIs, and data models for GPU Health and Fleet Intelligence.
• Build APIs for compute zones, node groups, nodes, alerts, events, metrics, inventory, and reports.
• Develop high-volume ingestion and persistence paths for agents and collectors.
• Work with Aurora PostgreSQL, Kafka/MSK, S3, SQS, Prometheus/AMP, and OpenTelemetry-based observability.
• Operate scheduled services for liveness, alerting, rollups, cleanup, and notification delivery.
• Optimize database schemas, time-series storage, and query performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale backend systems.
• Improve reliability, security, observability, testing, and deployment in Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
