Job summary

Furientis is looking for navigation experts to help design high production rate interceptor missiles. You will be part of a team developing guidance algorithms and navigation solutions, working to ensure successful missile operations.

Applicants should have extensive experience in navigation or estimation, ideally with a strong background in inertial sensors and software development. This position is located on-site in Los Angeles, CA, with no remote work available and requires a U.S. person.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of navigation or estimation work.
• Designed and tuned an EKF from first principles.
• Deep fluency with strapdown inertial navigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, tune, and harden an error-state EKF.
• Characterize inertial sensors and their behavior.
• Develop pre-launch alignment and in-flight alignment procedures.
