Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking highly skilled GNC Engineers to develop, test, and implement GNC systems for air vehicle platforms such as Omen and Thunder. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across the entire system lifecycle, from concept to operation, focusing on autonomous safety-critical guidance and control.

The role requires deep expertise in dynamics and control, flight dynamics for VTOL/CTOL, and experience with MATLAB/Simulink. Travel up to 25% and eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Robotics, CS, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace with focus on dynamics and control.
• 12+ years in Guidance, Navigation & Control engineering or related tech.
• Strong knowledge of classical and modern control, estimation and filtering.
• Exceptional understanding of VTOL and CTOL flight dynamics.
• Experience with GNC solutions for flight systems.
• Experience with linear analysis tools for dynamic systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and related toolboxes.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and test GNC algorithms aligned with project requirements.
• Design and assess GNC architectures for vehicle, sensors, actuators and algorithms.
• Participate in concept through prototyping, testing, and operation phases.
• Collaborate with systems, flight software, mission autonomy, and test engineers.
• Contribute to design reviews, safety assessments, and system documentation.
• Use simulation tools to verify GNC models under varying conditions.
• Provide system engineering expertise for cohesive design and implementation.
• Troubleshoot GNC issues during design, testing, and operations.
• Stay updated with GNC tech trends and architecture design.
