Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Sr. Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer in Englewood, CO, to design, analyze, and test GN&C systems across the product lifecycle. You will work with flight software, simulations, and hardware to ensure mission success in sophisticated aerospace platforms.

The role emphasizes advanced CAE techniques, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and a track record of solving complex GN&C challenges in demanding development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Advanced experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, analysis, and simulation.
• Experience working successfully within multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Experience with system modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate, and test GN&C algorithms, flight software, related hardware, simulations, and engineering tools.
• Analyze complex Guidance, Navigation and Control systems to assess vehicle flight qualities, performance, and mission capabilities.
• Support aerospace solutions ranging from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to highly integrated aircraft platforms.
• Apply advanced engineering principles, analysis, and simulation techniques throughout the product lifecycle.
• Utilize Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to model, analyze, and evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering and development teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to system-level trade studies, analysis of alternatives, and technical decision-making.
• Support the definition and maturation of technical baselines in complex aerospace development environments.
