Job summary

OSI Engineering is seeking a Release Manager in Mountain View, CA, to align component projects of software releases with customer needs and delivery timelines.

You will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and project management to release updates to QA and Production, ensure quality, and optimize release processes for global device targets. This 12-month contract onsite, with extension, requires 10+ years in release management and strong program management skills.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience working closely with engineering teams.
10+ years of release management experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Program management with accountability for quality and release.
Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies and CI.
PMP Certification.
MS in related Engineering discipline; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development, evaluation, testing and launch phases.
Configure and release software updates to QA and Production.
Monitor release milestones and dependencies across programs.
Lead release governance and cross-project planning.
Identify tools and processes to improve releases.
Support global Bixby releases across device targets.
