Biotage seeks an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the Peptide Synthesis & Purification portfolio, driving strategy and commercial success across SMST and Scale‑Up products within the DDD business. You will manage a global product team and partner with R&D, Sales and Marketing to deliver sustainable growth.

You will define strategy, pricing and value propositions, turning customer insights into robust business cases, while overseeing portfolio performance and strategic partnerships.

• Significant experience in Product Management, Strategic Marketing or similar commercial roles.
• Strong leadership and coaching experience with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global matrix organisations.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and commercial success of our Peptide Synthesis & Purification portfolio. This is a high-impact global leadership role, combining hands‑on product management with broader portfolio oversight across our Small Molecule & Synthetic Therapeutics (SMST) and Scale‑Up product ranges within our Drug Discovery & Development (DDD) business.

Working closely with colleagues across Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing and Operations, you'll define product strategy, drive innovation and lead a team of Product Managers to deliver sustainable global growth.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop and execute the global product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle plans.
• Drive commercial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, market share and portfolio optimisation.
• Define compelling product positioning, pricing and value propositions.
• Translate customer insights, Voice of Customer programmes and market intelligence into winning product strategies.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, portfolio expansion and strategic partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional global product launches from concept through commercialisation.
• Partner with R&D to shape future technology development and product innovation.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market trends, driving continuous improvement and informed decisions.
• Build strong relationships with customers, KOLs and strategic partners worldwide.

In addition, you'll provide leadership across the wider SMST and Scale‑Up portfolio by:

• Leading and developing Product Managers across multiple product families.
• Aligning product strategies, investment priorities and commercial objectives.
• Coordinating integrated product roadmaps across technologies and customer workflows.
• Representing the portfolio in senior leadership discussions and strategic decision‑making.

About you

You’ll be an experienced scientific‑commercial leader who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical execution.

• A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline (PhD and/or MBA advantageous).
• Significant experience in Product Management, Strategic Marketing or similar commercial roles within life sciences or analytical technologies.
• Strong technical expertise in peptide synthesis, peptide purification, chromatography or related workflows.
• Experience managing global scientific product portfolios throughout the product lifecycle.
• Proven leadership experience, including coaching or developing Product Managers or scientific‑commercial teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing product performance and investment decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills within global matrix organisations.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• A collaborative, customer‑focused approach with a passion for innovation.
