Job summary

F5 Networks seeks a Senior Network Engineer to own global data-center networks and FedRAMP-compliant environments. The role combines operations‑focused reliability with engineering duties, including automation, routing optimization, and major initiatives across data centers and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Product, Security, Compliance, and Operations to ensure secure, scalable, and well‑documented backbone networks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering with experience in large-scale, multi-region and global routing environments.
• Experience engineering, operating, or supporting FedRAMP Moderate and/or High environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, build, operate and deliver network solutions for global data centers, cloud platforms, and FedRAMP environments.
• Design and implement secure network segmentation and boundary controls for FedRAMP architecture.
• Develop automation pipelines using Python and Ansible/AWX with Git-driven CI/CD workflows.
• Triage incidents and lead or support major incident response with FedRAMP procedures.
• Maintain compliance across network OS versions, configurations, and security posture with Security and Compliance teams.
