Responsibilities

• Provides complex operational weather support to DoD customers in the Air Force's largest Air and Space Operations Center.
• Identifies, evaluates, and monitors significant weather developments, especially with potential impacts on critical flight operations.
• Provides technical guidance and instructions to lower-graded technical employees or Airmen.
• Solves a variety of meteorological problems with other production and technical personnel in the region.
• Provides weather briefings for local, transient, and other supported aircrews in person or by telephone, email, or other approved methods.
