Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager, Machining, to design and scale supply chains for high‑precision machined components critical to Terran R.

You'll partner with Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain Planning to meet cost, lead time, and quality targets while driving supplier performance and risk management. The role demands deep aerospace experience and leadership to guide NPD/NPI programs and supplier development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing suppliers for aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
• Proven track record negotiating contracts and managing milestones.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (LN, SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of aerospace machining processes including CNC, 5-axis, EDM, etc.
• Direct experience managing machining commodities in aerospace.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards and supplier audits.
• Experience driving supplier performance via KPIs and long-term agreements.
• NPD/NPI supply chain experience in aerospace or frontier tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier management for custom machined components.
• Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including long-term agreements.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to align procurement with milestones.
• Drive supplier performance through risk management and negotiations.
• Mentor team members in precision machining processes and supplier development.
• Act as a thought leader for machining commodities and program readiness.
