Job summary

The role requires developing annual business plans, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet milestones. Travel ~10% may be required and you will join a large, global team.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business (Supply Chain Management or Purchasing) or four year degree in Engineering.
• Professional supply chain certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferred.
• Strong team player with cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Willing to travel as required (estimate 10%).

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual business plans for achievement of cost reductions and year-over-year performance improvement.
• Obtains and analyzes quotes to determine best value, then recommends global sourcing solutions based on data and facts collected.
• Can layout and explain a commodity strategy and follow the strategy for basic commodities.
• Provides proper documentation for review at sourcing councils, including total landed cost analysis.
• Ability to maintain control of multiple projects to meet timing and milestones.
• Lead negotiation for basic terms of contracts to support agreements.
• Monitors supplier performance and implements corrective actions when needed.
• Works with other departments to reduce inventory and improve processes.
