Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a highly motivated Senior GL Accountant to join our growing Finance organization. This role supports monthly and quarterly close, collaborating with the International Accounting Team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting & SEC Reporting.

You will supervise daily accounting activities (leases, prepaid expenses, intercompany, accruals), contribute to audits, and help develop policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Excellent communication with all levels of management.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting close process for North America.
• Manage daily accounting activities (leases, prepaid expenses, intercompany, accruals).
• Participate in external audits and data collection.
• Develop, maintain, and document accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with GL Operations and SEC/Technical Accounting teams.
• Contribute to M&A accounting activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.
• Support ad hoc projects as required.
