Job summary

National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is seeking a Software Development Team Lead to guide the Mapping & Staking product and our cloud platform. You will manage GIS data across our enterprise suite, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality SDLC delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and leveraging AI to boost productivity. The position requires 5+ years in software development and 3+ years in leadership, with experience in GIS and modern tech stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software development or related technical areas.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with GIS, ESRI or ArcGIS preferred.
• Experience with Java, C#, JavaScript frameworks, Spring Boot.
• Cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Strong collaboration and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team and own development efforts.
