Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field; ten years GIS experience preferred.
- Supervisory/people-leadership experience in a technical environment.
- Experience administering or supporting technical systems: configuration, implementation, integration, analysis, or database management.
- Experience managing complex GIS programs or projects in electric utility or similar environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise GIS applications, spatial databases, and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee GIS operations, personnel, governance, enterprise applications, system integrations, projects, vendors, and budget.
- Lead the GIS department, set goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Direct work assignments and mentor staff through coaching and performance management.
- Plan and manage complex GIS projects including platform upgrades and data migrations.
- Direct GIS integration with customer information, outage, asset, and work management systems.
