Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a senior GIS team member focused on Java-based full-stack engineering and cloud-native solutions. You will contribute to reliability, monitoring and observability across hybrid environments to support global commerce applications.

The role requires strong Java expertise, cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), and hands-on DevOps/SRE practices. You will design, develop and optimize resilient services with cross-functional teams to deliver stable systems.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience in core and advanced Java, enabling robust full-stack solutions.
Practical expertise with AWS, GCP or Azure for deployment, networking and security.
Strong AWS DevOps experience with pipeline creation and automation.
SRE concepts and observability using Splunk and Dynatrace.
Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures for GIS/commerce.
Understanding of commerce-focused full-stack engineering in Java.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable GIS and commerce-focused services using Java for high performance.
Implement cloud-native apps on major clouds with reliable compute, storage and networking.
Apply DevOps across the software lifecycle to speed releases with quality.
Drive SRE by defining SLIs/SLOs to improve availability and performance.
Configure AWS DevOps tooling and pipelines for secure deployments in hybrid environments.
Set up monitoring with Splunk and Dynatrace for actionable dashboards and alerts.
Use Kafka to maintain reliable event-driven communications across platforms.
Collaborate with product engineering, operations and security to align with goals.
