Job summary
KEITH is seeking an experienced GIS Specialist / GIS Administrator to support FDOT District Four in Florida. The role focuses on administration, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise GIS systems using ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, SQL, and Python, with collaboration across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will independently manage GIS tasks, serve as a resource, and contribute to project planning, documentation, and data integration in a long-term onsite engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor level degree in GIS or related field is required; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum five years of progressive GIS/geospatial experience.
- Strong experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
- Proficiency with SQL and Python and Esri desktop apps.
Responsibilities
- Provide GIS analysis, programming, and technical support using current GIS technologies.
- Administer, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments.
- Develop and improve GIS applications using Esri tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with FDOT users, developers, and stakeholders to define needs.
- Document GIS data, applications, processes, and system development.
- Troubleshoot GIS system, application, and data issues.
