Job summary

ASSYST is seeking a Senior GIS Programmer to support the GIS modernization and integration efforts for a client in Towson, Maryland. The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. You will develop, maintain, and upgrade ArcGIS Server webApplications and services, support Cityworks integrations, and modernize legacy code using C#, JavaScript, Python, and .NET.

Strong SQL/SSRS skills are required. This position calls for excellent communication and collaboration across teams to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and modifying applications using C#, JavaScript, Python, HTML, .NET, and J2EE.
• Hands-on ArcGIS Server and Esri stack experience including ArcGIS APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Mobile, and ModelBuilder.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server or Oracle; knowledge of triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience creating reports with SSRS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade ArcGIS Server web applications and services.
• Support configuration and web service integrations for Cityworks.
• Repair and upgrade legacy tools using Visual C# and ArcObjects in a modernized environment.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on program and production issues.
• Design and generate operational reports using SSRS.
