UDC is seeking a Sr. GIS Analyst to join our Utility Network Practice. The role involves creating and editing geospatial data, performing GIS data maintenance, analysis, and map production to support client needs.

You will work with ESRI tools such as ArcGIS, ArcFM, ArcPro, ArcCatalog, ArcSDE and related databases to develop and maintain data layers, perform spatial analyses and provide end-user guidance. A Bachelor's in GIS or related field and 4+ years of experience are expected; travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science or closely related field.
• 4+ years in a GIS Analyst role and 7+ years of progressive, related experience in the GIS industry.
• Advanced knowledge of GIS concepts, analytical techniques, including computerized mapping and digital data conversion, manipulation and analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with clients and team members.
• Experience with ESRI software tools incl. ArcGIS, ArcFM, ArcPro, ArcCatalog, ArcSDE and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Identifies GIS requirements with end users, analyzes processes and recommends best-practice solutions.
• Performs GIS data maintenance, analysis, extraction, and prepares data for archival storage.
• Creates, updates and formats maps and data layers using GIS and CAD tools; develops and maintains data models.
• Analyzes requests for new GIS applications and participates in software evaluation and implementation teams.
• Tests and validates programs and interfaces; documents results and coordinates with users.
