Qualifications

• Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board.
• 10 years of geotechnical experience.
• Experience with MS Office, GIS, and CADD.
• Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft slope stability, settlement, seepage and deep foundation software.
• Experience with Bentley suite of geotechnical data management and visualization software (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog).
• Knowledge of advanced numerical modeling (Finite Difference/Finite Element/Discrete Element) and associated software (Bentley/PLAXIS/Itasca FLAC).

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities with major program impact.
• Coordinate or manage geotechnical investigations for transportation and other projects.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare reports.
• Supervise professionals, technicians and design teams as needed.
• Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects.
