Job summary

Langan seeks a Senior Staff Geotechnical Engineer to join our Orlando, FL team. You will lead geotechnical design for earth structures, foundations, and excavation support on premier land development projects.

You will coordinate investigations, write reports, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative environment. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred), 3+ years of experience, and field exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of geotechnical experience in investigations and construction inspections.
• FE/EIT certification preferred; strong report writing and field coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Design earth structures, deep foundations, support of excavation and underpinning systems.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations and oversee fieldwork and reporting.
• Assist project manager with field coordination and program oversight.
• Prepare logs, forms, and geotechnical documentation; perform site inspections as needed.
