Job summary

RADISE International, LC in Florida is seeking a senior geotechnical engineer with 10+ years of experience to provide strong technical and project management support to the department.

You will manage geotechnical investigations, prepare and review reports, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients, contractors, field staff, and labs to deliver high-quality geotechnical services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations and reports.
• Experience managing multiple geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong technical and project management support to the department.
• Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, field staff, laboratories, and other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience who can provide strong technical and project management support to the department.
• The preferred qualifications include: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Florida PE license.
• Strong experience with geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, foundation recommendations, and preparation/review of geotechnical reports.
• Experience managing multiple geotechnical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, field investigations, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with Florida subsurface conditions and FDOT and other Florida agency requirements is preferred.
• Strong technical writing, QA/QC, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate directly with clients, contractors, field staff, laboratories, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
