Position Summary
As a Senior Engineer at ENGEO, you will be instrumental in our Seattle growth story. You will bridge the gap between high-level technical mastery and strategic business expansion. This role is designed for a leader who thrives on the challenge - helping to grow a small office and eager to leverage ENGEO’s global reputation to build a dominant local presence. You will provide mentorship to junior engineers, oversee critical geotechnical projects, and play an essential role in the Pacific Northwest region.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities; transform existing relationships into long-term partnerships.
- Lead and manage technically complex geotechnical projects with autonomy, ensuring technical excellence from scoping through construction.
- Serve as a key contributor to our Seattle team, providing technical training and professional guidance to junior staff.
- Set the standard for client service, project delivery timelines, and project management (including accounts receivable management).
- Continuously refine internal workflows to improve efficiency as the office scales.
- Represent ENGEO at industry events and within professional organizations to elevate our local market share.
Requirements
- 10+ years of geotechnical engineering project management experience
- Licensed as Professional Engineer in Washington
- Education: M.S. in Civil with Geotechnical Engineering specialty (minimum required)
- Mastery of settlement analysis, slope stability, seepage, and foundation design (both deep and shallow)
- Seismic and GIS experience a plus

Salary Expectations
Approximately $110,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and other factors.
