Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Senior Database Administrator to support a growing geospatial database environment near Fort Bragg. You will design, implement and maintain database objects, constraints and storage structures to meet evolving mission needs.

Responsibilities include SQL tuning, data modeling, and coordinating with software teams to integrate ESRI ARCGIS, messaging applications, and vendor support. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold TS/SCI clearance.
• Eight years of progressive experience in complex analysis, design, and modification of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Proficiency administering GIS server equipment (open source and COTS) for intelligence operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to lead subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Manage geospatial database schema objects, data modeling, and architecture.
• Advise software development and application support teams through SDLC stages, including triggers, views, and stored procedures.
• Demonstrate expert SQL knowledge and troubleshoot database issues.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Pursue ongoing learning to stay current with evolving requirements and technologies.
