Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related discipline with 5 years of hard rock mining experience.
• Master's degree with 3 years of related experience in rock mechanics and slope stability.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and safety practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide geomechanical project oversight with outside consultants and mine design teams.
• Review slope stability data collection, analysis, and remedial work.
• Communicate slope stability information to mine and site personnel.
• Inspect pit walls, stockpiles, and site access roads.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance slope stability.
