Job summary

WSP in the Atlanta area is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Geologist with RCRA and CERCLA experience. You will lead environmental projects, manage field studies, report preparation, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders under the Site Assessment and Remediation Team.

The role requires a geology degree, GA P.G. licensure or ability to obtain, 10+ years of experience, and strong QA/QC, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or closely related discipline; Master’s degrees are a plus.
• GA P.G. licensure or ability to obtain licensure is essential.
• Minimum 10 years environmental project experience including task management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatory interaction.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA and related reporting requirements.
• Experience with site investigations and remediation; soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects from field investigations to remedial action planning.
• Develop technical reports and client communications detailing study results.
• Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff with QA/QC adherence.
• Interpret geologic, hydrogeologic, and chemical data to support action plans.
