Job summary

MANTECH is hiring a Senior GEOINT Data Scientist for our team in Springfield, VA to support critical data environments and challenging intelligence work.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph, plus extensive GEOINT experience and hands-on data analysis using Python, SQL, and geospatial tools.

You will collaborate with Program Managers, Product Owners, and technical teams to translate roadmaps into actionable tasks and drive mission impact.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED with 10+ years of related experience.
• Substitutions such as an associates/bachelors/masters/PhD for years of experience are allowed.
• Significant experience supporting intelligence operations and data analysis.
• Experience data mining and managing databases.
• Ability to identify system enhancements and business cases for capability development.
• Experience with government data processing and analytics tools.
• Experience directing technical and analytical teams.
• Experience conducting multi-INT research for mission operations.
• Masters preferred in Data Science or related field with AI/ML experience.
• Advanced programming: HTML5/JavaScript, ArcGIS suite, Python, Oracle/SQL, GIScience, ArcGIS.
• Experience with .NET, Python, C++, or Java for web/geodatabase work.
• Experience building GEOINT/SIGINT/OSINT databases and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Work with large structured and unstructured datasets in modeling and analytics.
• Lead and contribute to solution design and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to turn roadmaps into tasks and estimates.
• Apply exploratory data analysis to uncover relationships and trends.
• Research optimization models and strengthen data management and analytics.
• Use big data tools across large datasets to generate actionable insights.
