Job summary

Brunel is seeking a seasoned Geodetic Specialist to provide expert geodetic support for global oil and gas exploration, appraisal, and development projects under a contract arrangement. You will integrate geodetic systems, manage datums and CRS, QC vendor deliverables, and work with wells, geoscience, and service teams to apply precise positioning techniques with integrity and safety.

Strong programming exposure (C++, Python, MATLAB) and experience with ESRI ARCPro, Petrel, Studio and Global

Qualifications

Tertiary degree in Geodesy and extensive Geodetic experience.
10+ years in Geodetic roles within Oil & Gas.
Exposure to Acoustic, Seismic, and GNSS positioning disciplines.
Proficiency with ESRI ARCPro, Petrel, Studio and Global Mapper.

Responsibilities

Integrate and analyze geodetic systems and positioning data for business units.
Administer datums, CRS and datum transformations with accuracy.
QC vendor reports and data deliverables for integrity and compliance.
Collaborate with wells, geoscience and service teams on surveys.
Liaise with Geodetic Principal and ensure proper safety and environmental practices.
