Wilson Elser seeks a General Liability Of Counsel in Las Vegas, NV, to handle defense litigation with opportunities to grow within a national firm. The role emphasizes partnering with attorneys across offices, managing substantial caseloads, and delivering high-quality client service.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of defense litigation experience, strong writing and oral communication skills, and a track record in handling complex matters such as catastrophic injury or construction defect.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Nevada.
• 8+ years of defense litigation.
• Experience with catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or other general liability matters.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload as part of a team.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
