Job summary

Paylocity in Ohio is seeking a licensed dentist to provide comprehensive dental services across all ages under general dentistry. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care in a comprehensive health environment.

The role includes managing emergencies, documenting care in the EMR, supervising hygienists and assistants, and keeping current with evolving dental practices to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited school.
• License to practice dentistry in Ohio.
• Ability to work independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to patients through evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and restoration.
• Perform procedures within general dentistry: exams, x-rays, sealants, prophylaxis, scaling, restorations, extractions, dentures, crowns and endodontics.
• Provide emergency dental services including consultations, endodontics, extractions and referrals as needed.
• Create dental treatment plans during patient consultations.
• Document patient care in the EMR with proper coding and billing notes.
• Stay updated with current dental trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals for integrated care.
• Supervise and train dental hygienists and assistants.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutrition and prevention.
