Vibehackers in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Senior GCP Engineer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. This hands-on role requires onsite work in Pleasanton and a focus on data pipelines, warehousing, and infrastructure.

You will work with BigQuery, AlloyDB, DBT, and Airflow to deliver reliable, secure data systems, implement CI/CD, and apply vibe coding and clean code practices across the project.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on development expertise.
• Strong foundation and hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with BigQuery.
• Experience with AlloyDB and DBT.
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Composer / Airflow.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be a hands-on developer (not a coordination-only role).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work hands-on with BigQuery for data warehousing and analytics.
• Develop and manage relational workloads using AlloyDB.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using DBT.
• Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud workloads.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data modeling, transformation, and reporting.
• Follow modern development practices, including vibe coding and clean code standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
