Job summary

Acunor Inc. is seeking a GCP Data Engineer in Atlanta, hybrid role (3 days onsite). You will architect scalable data pipelines on GCP, lead data initiatives across marketing and product teams, and mentor junior analysts.

Strong background in retail data, CDPs, and Looker dashboards is required. You will own end-to-end data ingestion, quality, and measurement workflows, working with Amperity/Acxiom or similar CDPs.

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years in data analytics/engineering with leadership/SME experience
• Retail industry experience with omnichannel knowledge strongly preferred
• Proficient in GCP stack and CDPs such as Amperity/Acxiom or equivalents
• Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to executives
• Proven ability to mentor junior analysts and lead cross-functional data projects

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize data pipelines using Airflow, BigQuery and other GCP-native tools
• Analyze and resolve data quality issues across CDPs ensuring accurate customer profiles
• Design modular, production-grade code for data ingestion, transformation and measurement workflows
• Develop dashboards and reporting using Looker/BigQuery; maintain data models
• Collaborate with marketing, product and engineering teams to translate business needs into data products
• Lead strategic data discussions with senior stakeholders; drive decisions with actionable insights
• Serve as SME in data engineering and analytics; promote best practices in governance and storytelling
• Apply agentic AI techniques to automate insight generation and personalization
