Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GCP Senior Data Engineer to help deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes building data pipelines, modeling, and contributing to analytics products, with a focus on client-facing delivery and collaboration with architects.

You will work with BigQuery, Looker, Vertex AI, and Gemini models to implement scalable data and AI solutions, under guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in data engineering, analytics, or ML.
• Experience working with clients and delivery teams in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with modern data and AI patterns on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Support development of dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Assist in developing ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini Foundation Models.
• Implement ML pipelines and contribute to MLOps processes (monitoring, retraining, deployment).
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and retrieval.
