Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer for a contract role in Marshall, MI. The candidate will design and deploy GCP networking, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC across cloud and on-prem environments.

Strong scripting, OpenShift familiarity, and collaboration with ops teams are essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud/DevOps, with hands-on experience in GCP and Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• GCP Networking–VPC design and deployment.
• CI/CD pipeline management and maintenance.
• IaC development for cloud and on-prem environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (VMs, networking, security) on GCP/Azure.
• Automate repetitive tasks in software deployment.
• Monitor performance and perform root-cause analyses.
• Ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with operations and other teams for smooth delivery.
