Insomniac Games is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator to create high-quality gameplay animations that align with the artistic vision and technical standards. You will work closely with Designers and Programmers to implement animations in the game engine, using Maya and Insomniac's proprietary tools.

The role requires independent work with minimal supervision and a strong collaboration ethos, contributing to Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality animations for gameplay characters, aligning with artistic direction and technical standards.
• Collaborate with Designers and Programmers to implement animations in engine using Maya and proprietary tools.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues.
• Utilize motion capture data and hand key animation to create believable characters.
• Handle hero traversal, combat, boss, camera cinematography, and open-world animations at a high level.
• Coordinate with the Animation team to maintain cohesive execution of the animation direction.
• Communicate effectively with Designers, Programmers, Writers, Project Managers, Art, Audio, and Rigging teams.
• Other duties may be assigned.
