Job summary

Insomniac Games is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator to create high-quality gameplay animations and integrate them into the engine. You will work with designers and programmers, using Maya and proprietary tools to realize the game’s creative vision.

You should be proficient with motion capture, hand key animation, and have strong collaboration across disciplines to deliver polished, immersive experiences. This is a temporary engagement through Yoh Enterprise Solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Maya and engine tooling.
• Experience with motion capture data.
• Strong collaboration across disciplines and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality gameplay animations aligned with artistic and technical standards.
• Collaborate with Designers/Programmers to implement animations in engine using Maya and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve animation issues independently.
• Utilize motion capture data and keyframe animation for believable characters.
• Contribute to hero traversal, combat, boss, camera cinematography, and open-world animations.
• Ensure cohesive animation direction across the game with the team.
• Communicate with Designers, Programmers, Writers, PMs, and other teams to reach goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
