Job summary

Webull Futures LLC is seeking a senior Risk Officer to design, implement, and oversee a robust risk-management framework for its futures business in New York. You will partner with executive leadership and Compliance to ensure regulator-ready controls and scalable governance across market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk.

You will guide risk reporting to the CEO, CRO, and board, establish risk appetite, escalation protocols, and incident response, and coordinate with regulators,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, risk management, accounting or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of progressive risk management experience in futures, derivatives, clearing, FCM, broker-dealer, exchange, or regulated financial services.
• Experience in senior risk leadership and governance with executive exposure.
• Deep understanding of risk management for futures and derivatives, including margin and liquidity, stress testing, and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior-most risk officer for Webull Futures LLC and own the risk framework.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and elevate material risks across the futures business.
• Establish risk appetite, risk indicators and stress testing.
• Partner with executive leadership to embed risk into strategy and product development.
• Provide independent risk challenge on launches, onboarding, clearing, liquidity, and continuity.
• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and boards.
• Maintain regulator-ready risk program and coordinate with Compliance and Legal.
