Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.
• Valid state Funeral Director and Embalmer License; reciprocal across states and in good standing.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consult with client families to design services that meet their memorialization expectations.
• Coordinate service arrangements with clergy and other participants.
• Prepare and embalm the deceased in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Ensure paperwork, permits, and certificates are completed accurately and timely.
