Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Phoenix is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead donor relations and event fundraising efforts. You will build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue targets and expand engagement.

You will plan and execute fundraising events, manage logistics and budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure a high-quality participant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years in fundraising and relationship development
• Event fundraising experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners to meet revenue goals and grow engagement.
• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, and vendor coordination.
• Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio.
• Aligns event participants and partners with broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact.
• Monitors performance against goals and adjusts strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment.
