Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in California. The role covers accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.

You will support tax compliance and monthly/quarterly reporting for private equity fund clients. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3–4 years of accounting experience with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks or similar software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 3-4 years of accounting and general ledger experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• Ability to effectively communicate to team members.
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
• Compensation range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual\'s skills, experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties for accounts payable and receivable.
• Book journal entries, bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger.
• Reconcile credit cards and expense reports.
• Assist with monthly or quarterly reporting requirements.
• Prepare 1099s and provide support for federal, state and local tax compliance.
• Maintain various web-based accounting platforms.
• Work on ad hoc requests from the client.
