Standish Management, LLC in Portland, OR seeks a Fund Accountant to support day-to-day accounting for private equity fund families. You will help prepare fund-level financial statements, monitor partnership agreements, and assist with audits, tax reviews, and capital calls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and teamwork abilities. QuickBooks familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance field required.
• 1–2 years of full-time accounting experience.
• Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks a plus.
• Knowledge of investment accounting concepts and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for domestic and offshore fund families; update schedules and allocations.
• Assist with semi-annual portfolio reviews and analyze fund performance.
• Monitor compliance with partnership agreements.
• Assist with audits, tax return reviews, fundraising, and meetings.
• Coordinate cash needs and capital calls; distribute notices to Limited Partners.
• Respond to ad hoc limited partner requests and support special projects.
