Job summary

Pravati Capital LLC seeks a seasoned Senior Fund Accountant to lead full‑cycle financial operations for our litigation finance and private equity platform. You will manage fund accounting for closed‑end vehicles, supervise capital calls and allocations, and support MSO/ABS structuring with scalable systems and controls.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in fund accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and a track record in private credit or private equity, with excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance required; CPA/CFA a plus.
• 10+ years in progressive fund accounting, private credit or private equity.
• Deep knowledge of partnership allocations, waterfalls, closed-end funds.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and fund-level reporting experience.
• Experience with credit facilities, borrowing base reporting, lender compliance.
• Familiarity with MSO and ABS structures is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience scaling accounting systems in high-growth environments.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle fund accounting for closed-end investment vehicles including capital calls and distributions.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financials and investor reporting; review NAV calculations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax preparers, fund admins, and counsel on reporting matters.
• Oversee credit facilities including covenant compliance and lender reporting.
• Support structuring of new investment vehicles (MSO and ABS).
• Design scalable finance systems, controls, and processes for growth.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on complex allocations.
• Partner with leadership on financial modeling and strategic planning.
