Tandem Recruiting Group seeks an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to manage accounting and operations for private investment funds, with a focus on evergreen and open-ended structures. You will work closely with investment teams and external service providers to ensure accurate NAV, liquidity planning, and investor activity.

The role requires hands-on experience with evergreen funds, including subscriptions/redemptions, capital calls, and detailed fund reporting under US GAAP.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of fund accounting, fund finance, or investment operations experience.
• Direct GP-side experience in venture capital or private equity.
• Hands-on with evergreen, open-ended private funds or interval funds, incl. NAV, liquidity planning, subscriptions/redemptions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting and operations for private investment funds, focusing on evergreen/open-ended structures.
• Prepare liquidity forecasts, capital activity, subscriptions, redemptions, and fund-level transactions.
• Coordinate funding, closings, follow-ons, distributions, exits with investment team.
• Review NAV calculations, capital accounts, investor allocations, and fund reporting.
• Reconcile investment activity, cash balances, expenses, accruals, fees, and capital activity.
• Support and review fee calculations and incentive allocations.
• Assist investor subscription/redemption processes and evergreen mechanics.
• Monitor liquidity and coordinate cash planning with internal teams.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, review NAV packages, resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with LPAs, side letters, fee terms; support external reporting.
• Support audits, tax, banking relationships; assist with K-1 deliverables.
• Maintain fund records, reconciliations, internal controls, and documentation.
• Support new fund launches and onboarding of evergreen/interval funds.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, NAV review, and automation.
