SKILLS REQUIRED
- 6+ years of experience in Functional Testing, Quality Assurance, or Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications testing.
- Mandatory experience testing Oracle Fusion SCM modules such as Order Management, PLM, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Orchestration, GOP, P2P, Procurement, Purchase Order Lifecycle, or Inventory Management.
- Strong experience in functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
- Experience testing Oracle Fusion integrations involving APIs, middleware, interfaces, third-party applications, and enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion quarterly release testing, patch validation, and impact assessment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise ERP workflows and end-to-end SCM business processes.
- Experience with defect management, test planning, test case development, execution, and validation.
- Mandatory awareness of AI-powered applications, AI testing approaches, or modern AI/GenAI technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional QA Engineer – Oracle SCM to support quality assurance and testing initiatives across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will have strong functional testing experience within Oracle SCM, excellent understanding of end-to-end enterprise business processes, and hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion integrations and quarterly releases.
The candidate will work closely with Application Management, Engineering, Product Owners, Oracle SMEs, and business stakeholders to develop test strategies, execute functional and integration testing, identify risks, manage defects, and ensure high-quality releases. Experience with test automation, API testing, SQL, and AI-powered testing approaches will be highly valued.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business requirements, process flows, and Oracle Fusion functionality to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, exploration, and UAT testing across Oracle Fusion applications.
- Validate end-to-end business workflows across Oracle SCM modules and integrated enterprise applications.
- Test Oracle Fusion SCM modules including Order Management, PLM, Procurement, P2P, Inventory, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Orchestration, and GOP, as applicable.
- Validate Oracle Fusion integrations, interfaces, APIs, middleware, reports, workflows, customizations, and downstream systems.
- Perform data validation, transaction integrity checks, batch processing validation, and synchronization testing across interconnected systems.
- Identify, document, track, retest, and validate defects through closure using established defect management processes.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Execute pre-release and post-release validation testing to ensure production readiness.
- Perform exploratory testing to proactively identify system, integration, and business process risks.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools where applicable.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, testing frameworks, and methodologies.
- Apply knowledge of AI, GenAI, and AI-powered testing approaches to modernize QA practices.
- Stay current with emerging testing technologies, Oracle Cloud innovations, and Agentic AI testing concepts.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in Functional Testing, Quality Assurance, or Software Testing.
- Strong experience testing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
- Strong understanding of SCM business processes and enterprise ERP workflows.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion quarterly releases, patch validation, and impact assessment.
- Strong experience with Oracle Fusion integrations, APIs, middleware, interfaces, and external applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques is preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Experience testing AI-enabled or GenAI-powered applications is a plus.
