Job summary

gamigo group is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build and evolve our casual gaming eCommerce platform end-to-end. You will shape architecture, implement features, and drive technical decisions across backend services and frontend interfaces.

You will develop with Node.js/TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, and React, ensuring performance, security, and SEO. The role requires collaboration in an agile team, mentoring colleagues and owning complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Senior engineering experience with RESTful APIs and single-page applications
• Proven track record of driving architecture and code structure in production systems
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including NestJS
• Solid experience with Next.js and React
• Experience with Google Cloud or comparable cloud infrastructure
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or another SQL database, and TypeORM
• Experience optimizing web pages for speed and SEO
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Excellent English communication and agile teamwork

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve code structure and architecture, and drive technical decisions forward
• Design and implement new features for our casual eCommerce platforms, from architecture to deployment
• Build performant, reliable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
• Develop frontends with Next.js and React, optimized for performance and SEO
• Ensure high availability and performance of production systems
• Improve observability and code quality, and mentor colleagues
• Suggest ideas to improve products for customers
• Identify risks early and take ownership of solving them
• Collaborate in an agile environment with Scrum ceremonies

• Experience with eCommerce or payment/subscription integrations
• Knowledge of containers (e.g. Docker) and Kubernetes
• Written and verbal German communication skills
