Double is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the United States to accelerate product development for an all-in-one bookkeeping platform. The role focuses on building robust server-side and client-side features using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and related technologies.

You will ship production software daily, influence UX through product engineering, and collaborate with a high-performing EPD team to deliver value to thousands of small business customers.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of demonstrable experience architecting and developing applications with Node.
• Strong TypeScript and ES6 experience for scalable code.
• Proficient in React and building user interfaces.
• Experience shipping production-grade software using agents.
• Experience with TypeORM and TanStack Query is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Ship software to prod on a daily basis with coding agents
• Influence UX through product engineering
• Collaborate with a high performing EPD team

Who You Are

• Have a track record of shipping systems that solved a hard problem, not just shipped on time — e.g. you built the thing that made your team 5x faster, or the internal tool nobody thought was possible
• Operate with high agency: you identify what needs to be done and drive it forward without waiting to be told to
• Have found yourself wondering “why isn’t this moving faster?” in previous roles — and then have done something about it
• 4+ years of demonstrable experience architecting and developing applications with Node
• Demonstrable experience writing type-safe code with TypeScript
• Strong ES6 Experience
• Experience using agents to ship to production
• Experience building applications with React and Node
• Experience with TypeORM is a plus
• Experience with TanStack Query is a plus
